| The 4 pups who survived |
Ron is 1 of the 4 pups, who survived out of the 8 pups given birth by Cookie. Cookie is a stray dog whom we give food and water; so she's also our pet. Partially i.e., since she doesn't literally live inside our home. She really likes Neville; but Neville uses her only to satisfy his urges and that's how Ron and others were born. But 8 pups???!!! Poor Cookie!
So coming to the point of this post - Ron.
He was a bundle of joy as a pup. Naughty, crazy, intelligent; and yes, he was always hungry!
We got him adopted by a family. That girl was elated!
Her father was strictly against having a dog at home. But he couldn't resist this delightful teddy-bearish pup.

| and those strong paws. |
He grew so fast! At 3 months of age, he had a very strong bark; almost like an adult dog. We felt so proud whenever this kid barked with all the might. His coat had drastically changed; the colour is like a Labrador's! My-my, what luck!
Anyway, every dog is adorable because of its peculiar habits and quirks. This dog (on its own) used to come and sit on our laps to have a 'cuddling session'. (We didn't mind that. How can we?!) When he felt sleepy, he used to crawl under the bed so that he could get some privacy and light does not disturb him.
At 6 months of age, his height and health was in full glory. And the doctor said that he will grow for another few months as well! Ha! Can you be believe his mother is a Mongrel? No, I think he looks like a genuine Labrador now. (So maybe, it wasn't Neville!)
I am really contented that this dog got a nice home where everyone loves him. He has brought a lot of happiness to us and that family. What I intended to convey is - Adopt a homeless dog/get it adopted. Love, proper nutrition and good amount of play will make it healthy; then it wont matter what breed it is. Besides, when it comes to dogs, they are truly our best friends (I'm not exaggerating). We need them more than they need us!
